“3 Statues for a Square, is part of an ongoing project where Endres extends an ever-expanding body of work that meditates on inherited colonial histories and the continuous challenges to indigenous rights. The project reflects on Crown entities repeatedly clawing back every agreed financial and cultural settlement, set against a moment when the world appears lost and adrift in social media noise, marked by violence against civilians in Gaza during a ‘ceasefire’ and political fracture within the United States.”
